From home cook and author Lucinda Scala Quinn, a cookbook containing 100 iconic and beloved Italian-American recipes from the last century. In America today, everyone loves nonna's cooking—think spaghetti, lasagna, and pizza. Italian families arrived in the U.S at the beginning of the twentieth century, and mammas brought with them the skills and ingredient know-how to fashion a whole new cuisine in spite of living in poverty and ostracization from their new country. Their fathers, husbands, and sons then monetized these dishes outside the home in the form of Red sauce joints. Rarely are these women actually credited as the true founders of the Italian-American cuisine.

Once an order is placed, it typically takes us one to two business days to process. 

Items under $1000 are shipped via UPS or USPS mail, with signature confirmation.

Items over $1000 are shipped via Fed Ex Express, UPS, or USPS with signature confirmation.


When an item ships, you will receive an email confirmation with your tracking number. You can see shipping costs at check out. 

If you are unhappy with your purchase for any reason, you may return it within 14 days of the sale, subject to the following:

  • The merchandise must be in new condition with any and all tags as well as packaging.  Any used or damaged merchandise will not be accepted. Any  custom items are FINAL SALE. 
  • All Apothecary, Eyewear, Jewelry, and perishable goods are FINAL SALE and not eligible for a refund.
  • All returned merchandise must be accompanied by its original sales receipt
